Chiruca presents Lykos and Lykos Lady, its new technical hunting trousers
Two new pairs of hunting trousers that combine durability, lightness and freedom of movement, with a version specifically designed for women.
Chiruca is expanding its range of hunting gear with two new additions to its collection of technical trousers: Lykos and Lykos Lady. These two models are designed to offer protection and comfort whilst hunting, combining durability, elasticity and lightness in a garment created to support hunters across a variety of terrain conditions.
Both Lykos and Lykos Lady share the same technical design: they are windproof, breathable, water-repellent and stretchy, features intended to facilitate movement and maintain comfort during long days in the field.
Added to these features is a lightweight and silent design, particularly useful in a hunting environment where mobility and discretion are key factors.
During a day’s hunting, the trousers are subjected to constant wear and tear: moving through vegetation, rubbing against branches and undergrowth, changes in terrain and long hours of activity. For this reason, the new Lykos trousers feature reinforced areas made from Ripstop fabric, particularly on the front panels, to increase their durability and help prevent tears.
The Lykos and Lykos Lady models are made from a technical fabric comprising 95% polyester and 5% Spandex on the outer layer, whilst the inner layer is 100% polyester.
Areas subject to greater wear and tear feature a Ripstop fabric comprising 65% polyester and 35% cotton, laminated with a TPU membrane to provide greater durability and strength.
This combination allows the most exposed areas to be reinforced without making the trousers excessively heavy or stiff.
Functionality also plays a key role in the design of the new Lykos trousers: they feature five zipped pockets – two spacious front side pockets, two further front pockets and one back pocket. This layout is designed to carry small items and accessories securely, ensuring they are always to hand throughout the day.
Comfort is enhanced by a waistband with elasticated side panels, which ensures a snug fit at the waist and moves with the hunter. The system is completed by a double fastening with a hook and button.
Lykos Lady: a range specifically designed for female hunters
The growing number of women taking part in hunting is also reflected in Chiruca’s new collection with Lykos Lady, a model designed specifically for women.
It retains the key technical features of the Lykos – elasticity, lightness, breathability, wind resistance, water repellency and Ripstop reinforcements – adapted to a design intended to offer comfort and freedom of movement throughout the hunting day.
As a distinguishing feature, the Lykos Lady incorporates high-visibility orange detailing, whilst the Lykos model features high-visibility pink detailing.
With the Lykos and Lykos Lady, Chiruca adds two new options to its range of technical clothing, focusing on a combination of durability, protection and comfort.
These two pairs of trousers are designed for those seeking a garment capable of withstanding contact with the ground and vegetation, whilst at the same time allowing for natural movement and enabling the wearer to tackle long days in the countryside with ease.
