Care and Maintenance

For optimal care and maintenance of CHIRUCA® footwear and to extend its lifespan, we recommend following these steps:

BOOTS

DO NOT TUMBLE DRY

After use, allow to air and dry naturally.

AVOID HEAT SOURCES

Heating, hairdryers and fire can dehydrate and dry out the skin.

REMOVING INDOOR MOISTURE

Fill the boot with newspaper.

USING THE CHIRUCA® BRUSH

Once dry, brush them gently with the CHIRUCA® brush to remove any dirt.

DO NOT USE A WASHING MACHINE

Clean them only with a cloth dampened with warm water or mild soapy water.

HOW TO USE CHIRUCA® CREAM

Then apply CHIRUCA® cream to the shoes. It nourishes the leather and prevents cracks without preventing perspiration. Not recommended for split leather.

CHIRUCA® WATER REPELLENT

Regular use of CHIRUCA® waterproofing product prevents shoes from becoming heavy by keeping the leather and reinforcements dry. It also repels dirt and stains.
